.......as you can see Lia has written a nice intro ot NZ? I may just add that (traveling to NZ) we had to take off and then fly through a BIG thunderstorm in Hongkong. Not the most enjoyable experience.
Yes, many parts of the North Island are like the English countryside & No, we have not seen any Hobbits yet!........
What we`ve seen is amazing geothermal things, hot water beach and volcanic activity at Roturia and we`vepuddled in a warm flowing stream....
